Explain Respiration
Respiration releases energy, a process in which energy is obtained from food.
What are the qualities of a nerve system?
A nerve cell is long and thin so that impulses can travel across the whole body. A red blood cell has no nucleus so it has more room to carry oxygen and is rounded/oval so that it can travel through small blood vessels without blocking a pathway. Muscle cells are elongated and elastic to allow for stretching and recoiling
