get a glass slide, touch edges and peel of a layer of onion skin and place on slide

add some drops of iodine, 3 drops, help us see the onion cell, place on cover slip, avoid air bubbles

place on stage, add clips, cover slip on upper surface as might not see

what do we need to make sure we do now?

Answer 7

use coarse focus dials to make sure the stage is as close to the objective lenses as possible, turn coarse focus dials towards you to make sure in focus, once in focus you can change objective lens too focus, make a small adjustment to make sure it is in the most clear focus
