Thrown, dropped, projected, placed
What are some of the most dangerous military ordinance
Dropped submunitions. They are considered armed when they are outside of the dispenser and are usually in groups.
What are some of the more dangerous fillers found in projected munitions
chemical and Picric acid (found in Japanese WWII munitions)
What information will the military eod unit request about found military ordnance
LENGTH and DIAMETER, color markings, stamping and other distinguishing marks
What are the 4 military ordnance color codes
Yellow band - HE
Brown band - low explosive
Blue band - practice (not inert)
Light green - white phosphorous
