Sources- milk, cheese, yogurt, tinned fish(salmon and sardines), bread, green vegetables, sesame seeds and water

Functions- Healthy red blood cells, makes haemoglobin which is needed to carry oxygen around the body to give us energy
Sources- Red meat, liver, fortified breakfast cereals, whole cereals, brown bread and green vegetables
Deficiency diseases- Feeling of tiredness and weakness which leads to anaemia
RDA- 14mg
Fluorine
Functions- Healthy teeth
Sources- Drinking water, fish
Deficiency disease- Tooth decay
Phosphorous
Functions- Strong bones and teeth( combines with calcium)
Sources- Meat, fish, poultry, eggs, milk, cheese, pulse vegetables, whole cereals
Deficiency disease- Rare
Sodium
Functions- Controls water balance in the body
Sources- Table salt, bacon, processed meats, snack foods, butter, cheese
Deficiency disease- Muscle cramps
