Moscovicis research to support consistency, unrealistic task of stating the colour of slide, difficult to generalise findings to explain how minorities attempt to change behaviour of majority irl, outcomes more important, eg less influence in a jury setting, could be life threatening, lowers ext validity

Strength: RTS flexibility

A

Nemeth and Brilmayer, mock jury, amount of compensation to be paid for someone in a ski lift accident, when confed put forward alternative point of view and refused to change position, no effect on minority, confed who compromised had influence, flexible so able to change majority opinion, supports flexibility as important.
