What is the Sacrament of Holy Orders?

What is a monk?
A monk usually lives his life in prayer and contemplation.
What is a nun.?
A nun is a member of a religious community of women, typically one living under vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.
How do monks/nuns fulfil the mission of the Catholic Church?
Monks and nuns performed many practical services in the Middle Ages, for they housed travelers, nursed the sick, and assisted the poor

The chaplain’s role is supportive, serving as a counsellor and guide to the psycho-spiritual needs of the staff and patients.

The concept of the church as one body in Christ calls us to live in unity.
Two examples of poverty that affect the developing world?
Because of their poverty they may experience multiple disadvantages through unemployment, low income, poor housing, inadequate health care and barriers to lifelong learning, culture, sport and recreation.
Three things that all people should have access to according to CAFOD.
CAFOD aims to: tackle poverty and injustice. support people in need so that they are empowered and able to help themselves in the long term. provide assistance in times of crisis, for example during a war or after a natural disaster.
