Finger MCP Flexion MMT

A

Muscle: Lumbricals (c8-t1)

Position: Sitting; palm up

Palpate: Palm, in between metacarpals on radial side, fingers extended

Movement: Flex then go to 90; pull proximal phalynx all together

Stabilize: Wrist

GR Position: Sitting w/ arm on table, neutral forearm; allow MCP flx

A

Muscle: FDS (c8-t1)

Position: Sitting; palm up

Palpate: Middle forearm

Movement: Flex then go to 90; hold proximal phalynx, and resist middle phalynx 1 finger at a time

Stabilize: Proximal phalynx

GR Position: Sitting w/ arm on table, neutral forearm; allow MCP flx
