Define Culture
the patterns of behavior and thinking that people living in social groups learn, develop, and share

- Listen to the patient’s perception of the problem

- Negotiate agreement. Assist the patient in understanding the medical treatments ordered by the provider and have the patient help to make decisions about those treatments as possible
