New Testament

- Stories told by Jesus in the Gospels
* They have a hidden meaning to help people understand God’s message
Prayer
- A way people communicate with God
* Thos is usually done through words
ACTS
- Adoration contrition Thanksgiving and supplication
* A way to remember different prayer types
Piety
- This means to be devout or dutiful
* People can show their devotion and love to God but praying to him
The Lord’s Prayer
- The prayer was given by Jesus to his followers
* It was also known as the our father
Hail Mary
- A Catholic Christian prayer to the Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus
- the Hail Mary is said as part of the rosary

- The name of the buildings where Christians worship
* The community of Christian people
Community
- A group of people living or working together
* A religious community might not live together but will share the same beliefs and practices
Catholic Christian
- They are a type of Christian
* They have the pope as head of the church

When a baptised person becomes a full member of the church
They confirm promises made for them at baptism
