Risk factors for difficult intubation
A
- known previous difficult intubation
- obesity
- failed regional anaesthesia
- pre-eclampsia
- congenital airway difficulties with restricted neck movement and limited mouth opening ( e.g. klippel-feil syndrome, pierre robin $
- acquired airway difficulties with restricted neck movement and limited mouth opening (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis, ank spend, cervial spine fusions)
