6. Do not touch the tip of the soldering iron or melted lead.
7. Clean the tip of the soldering iron before reusing it.

2. Follow the steps in soldering a wire.- Tin your wires – melt some solder into the filaments with your soldering iron
   3.Apply lead – melt the lead to coat the end of the wire
3. Connect a soldered wire together – re-apply the soldering iron and solder the wires to each other
