the way in which somebody holds his/her body especially when standing

the property of being the same or corresponding on both sides of a central
dividing line

degree of joint movement
Range of Motion (ROM)
an index that expresses adult weight in relation to height
Body Mass Index (BMI)
visualization; a critical examination of somebody or something aimed at
forming a judgment or evaluation
Inspection
a medical examination using fingers; a method of clinical examination using
gentle pressure of the fingers to detect growths, changes in the size of underlying
organs, and unusual tissue reactions to pressure
Palpation
tapping of the body; examination of part of a patient’s body by tapping with
the fingers to assess the presence of fluid
Percussion
examination with a stethoscope to listen to the sounds made by a
patient’s internal organs especially the heart, lungs, and abdominal organs
Auscultation
the force of the blood pushing against the vessel wall
Blood pressure
the maximum pressure felt on the artery during ventricular
contraction
Systolic pressure
the resting pressure that the blood constantly exerts between
each contraction
Diastolic pressure
the difference between the systolic and diastolic pressures
Pulse pressure
a drop in systolic pressure of more than 20 mm Hg when
changing to a standing position
Orthostatic hypotension
