Minimising the risk of transmission of infection, and minimising the development of antimicrobial resistance.
What is Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)?
Antimicrobial resistance is where microbes build up a tolerance to antimicrobial medicines, causing the medications to become ineffective in treating infections.

Infections occurring as a direct or indirect result of healthcare.
