some carbon dioxide may escape before bung is inserted
some copper carbonate may not react
carbon dioxide may dissolve in the water
some copper carbonate may remain in the weighing boat

how to fix these errors
A
insert the bung quickly
swirl to mix contents + ensure reaction goes to completion
use a gas syringe instead
use weigh by difference technique - weigh mass of weighing boat AND copper carbonate and THEN empty weighing boat
