What is agar?
A
A seaweed extract that is of no nutrient value, but which solidifies at room temperature and provides supplement and moisture for the foreign bacteria cultures.
Agar comes from brown algae hold the cells together like glue

A
Nutrient broth+agar
(Food) (Moist environment)
Grow general bacteria
If you want to grow a particular kind of bacteria you change the nutrient

Where did we get the bacteria we cultured?
A
We got our bacteria from surfaces around the school for example mine are from the doors and my cell phone
