Warrant
When a crime is committed and investigated, an authorization from the court is needed to arrest a suspect.
Counsel
Another name for a lawyer or attorney.

To discredit a witness’ testimony.

People chosen to hear the evidence Ina trial and reach a verdict.

Suppress
To keep something out of a trial.
Burden of proof
The obligation to prove allegations presented in a legal action.

Someone called to testify especially on behalf of a person’s character.

The rights if the accused.
