Outline how mRNA is produced in the nucleus.
A
DNA strands separate / hydrogen bonds break (between bases).
One DNA strand acts as a template.
Free RNA nucleotides align with complementary bases on the DNA template.
Uracil pairs with adenine instead of thymine.
RNA polymerase joins the RNA nucleotides together.
This forms a strand of mRNA.
mRNA leaves the nucleus via a nuclear pore (if asked for full process)
