Backstage View

Save vs Save as
Save as you name you file and a place to save and save just saves the changes to that file.
Exit vs Close
Close closes the document and Exit closes the program.
Application Window
Serves as the primary interface between the user and the application.
Document Window
The area where you enter new text and data or change existing text and data.
File Extension
Identifies the type of file.
Insertion Point
A blinking vertical line that indicates the location in the document where the new text and data will be entered.
Jump List
A collection of links that provides quick access to files and data.
Ctrl A
Selects all the text in the word document.
Ctrl C
Copies selected text.
Ctrl V
Pastes text that has been previously copied.
Ctrl X
Cuts selected text.
Ctrl Home
Takes you to the beginning of the document.
Ctrl End
Takes you to the end of the document.
