TOS: Training Objective Statement
- Describes the skill and knowledge to be learned by the individual

NTSP: Navy Training System Plan
- Documents that communicate manpower, personnel, and training requirements needed in support of new acquisition and/or modernization programs.

JDTA: Job Duty Task Analysis
- A representable and dependable job analysis process of developing or revising training content development or revision in order to satisfy fleet training requirement
- The first step in the course development and revision E2E process

FEA: Front End Analysis
- Occurs after a JDTA to establish a defendable and repeatable process to determine the best training and media delivery methods to satisfy training requirements that exist from a new training requirement, or identify a training gap in an existing course

Define: A targeted JDTA
JDTA: Job Duty Task Analysis
- Performed on specific portions of a course. Directed by CCA when insufficient course data exists to support a TRR. A mishap occurs during training, training that requires immediate action, or when directed by higher authority.
