Q

What is the proximal attachment of many of the anterior forearm muscles and what is it also known as?

Q

Complete the sentence. The anterior muscle forearms are supplied by the ______ nerve, except the _______ and the ________. These are supplied by the _________.

A

They are supplied by the Median nerve.

The exceptions are the flexor carpi ulnaris and the flexor digitorm profundus which are supplied by the ulnar nerve.

Q

Briefly discuss a hint on remembering the location of the superficial anterior flexor muscles?

A

Supinate the arm, put digits 2-5 just unter the pit of the forearm running mediolaterally. The index finger is where the pronator teres and then the Flexor Carpi Radials, the palmaris longus and the Flexor carpi ulnaris. refer to the image.
