Q

Marketing example: LSE

A

As marketing officer at LSE paksoc I had the opportunity to work on many different projects including small scale stuff such as promoting the events we put on and trying to get turn out to them.

But a major campaign involved our collaborating with the shahid Afridi foundation in trying to raise money for charity. I led the marketing which included setting up all the various social media channels and promotional content. Since this was a brand new concept, we had to start from scratch so it was a lot of fun playing with different designs and logos etc. But it was a successful collaboration and alongside 9 other unis we helped raise 20k to build schools in Pakistan

Q

Marketing examples: CLiKD

A

So this is very relevant to muzmatch considering it’s also a dating app. But working there has helped me learn many new skills including setting up Facebook ads and carrying out A/B testing to see which ads work best or which CTAs.

Furthermore I’ve learnt more about SEO optimisation that builds on my existing skills from my own blog and how blog marketing can really help build a brand and promote the app to users

Also learnt guerilla marketing strategies such as date escapes which was a fantastic event that combined experimental marketing’s with influencer tactics
