Why are f/u xrays after 2 weeks done after skeletal surveys?
A
To see if bony calluses are formed

What happens in a bucket handle fx?
A
Bone actually sears off the epiphyseal plate. Similar to a corner fx.

What happens in a corner fracture?
A
You just pull a little bone off, like you do on a fifth toe and thumb

What additionally views do you do for an NAI paed skull fracture?
A
CT because it will show resolved blood at the edge of the brain.
