remains outside of the story; gives the illusion that events are
evolving before his/her eyes; sees only what an observant person
might see; uses the pronouns “he/she/they” to report the actions of
the story ― the story is confined to what is experienced by this
single character who often comments judgmentally on events (bias)
third person limited
does not participate in the action of the story; stays objective
