Nat phos mental picture
A: moving House, only child, loss of a close friend, death of a friend
Walks around with a secret - communication forbidden by conscience - must sort out their problems on their own - must go their own way
Sensitive in the way they treat others
lost vitality - older people
Effort for them to remember details of their complaints - hopeless about their condition - impatient of friendly advice
Mental effort and concentration leads to a state of tension
Nat phos modalities
Sens to drafts. (Worst of all natrums)
Sens to cold miserable in winter
< any change of weather
< damp atmosphere
Often complaints <after bath, > after meal
Always prostrated by sex
< acid fruit, «_space;sour things < cold food although +
+ eggs, fish, highly seasoned food > and + beer
- bread and butter, bathing. Meat, milk
Nat phos symptoms
Dx yellow, creamy more like pus than other natrums
Thickly coated yellow white tongue at root
Sore mouth
Stomach feels empty < after meals, after bowel motion > eating
Sour eructations (hep, sulph, lyc)
General bowel irritability
Tendency to greenish diarrhoea - watery with flatus
Marked urging before stool
Skin yellowish itching < around ankles & mouth
Hives < warmth of bed > scratching
Icy cold feet in daytime burning hot at night
