A

Switch to renewable energy – Start using more solar, wind, and hydro power instead of burning oil and gas. We have sun and breeze for days, so use it smart.

Protect forests and plant more trees – Trees does pull carbon dioxide outta de air, so saving our forests and replanting where get cut down could help fight climate change.

Promote public transport and electric vehicles – Encourage people to use buses or electric cars instead of everybody driving dey own gas-guzzling ride. Less cars, less emissions.

Q

Suggest THREE actions that farmers in a community may take to help reduce water pollution.

A

Use less chemicals – Farmers could use fewer fertilizers and pesticides, or switch to natural ones, so less of it wash into rivers and streams.

Properly manage animal waste – Instead of letting dung and urine run off into waterways, they could build proper storage or compost it for use as natural fertilizer.

Plant buffer zones – Growing grass or trees along rivers and drains could help trap pollutants before they reach the water.
