Poland Occupation
Forced to be part of Lebensraum
Removed Polish culture, education and leadership (30,000 talented Poles were arrested)
Slavic Poles were considered inferior and 1.9 million non-Jewish Poles were murdered by SS and Wehrmacht
Between 1939-45 1.5 million Poles were in forced labour in Germany
3.5 million Poles were put in Ghettos and 3 million of these were murdered in death camps
