Treatment of H.Pylori
PPI bid \+ amoxicillin 1 g bid \+ clarithromycin 500 mg bid
ACLS: VT/VFib
Epinephrine 1 mg IV
or
Vasopressin 40 mg IV
Amiodarone 300 mg, 150 mg IV
ACLS: Bradycardia
Atropine 0.5 mg, repeat up to 3 mg
or
Epinephrine 10-20 mcg/min IV
Dopamine 10-20 mcg/kg/min
ACLS: Tachycardia antiarrhythmics
Procainamide 20-50 mg/min infusion
Amiodarone 150 mg over 10 min
(Sotalol 100 mg)
ACLS: Narrow regular VT, wide monomorphic/reg VT
Adenosine 6 mg, 12 mg IV
Ibuprofen for children
10 mg/kg q6-8 hrs
Acetaminophen for children
10-15 mg/kg q4-6 hrs
Anaphylaxis Tx for Adults
0.3-0.5 mg IM 1:1000 epinephrine
Anaphylaxis Tx for Children
0.01 mg/kg IM 1:1000 ephinephrine
Smoking Cessation Medications:
Wellbutrin (bupropion)
Initial: 150 mg once daily for 3 days
increase to 150 mg twice daily
- treatment should continue for 7 to 12 weeks
Champix (varenicline) • Initial: Days 1 to 3: 0.5 mg once daily Days 4 to 7: 0.5 mg twice daily • Maintenance: 0.5 to 1 mg twice daily for 11 weeks
NRP:
Med to use if HR persists below 60 bpm despite adequate ventilation, chest compressions.
By ET:
Epinephrine 1:10,000 1 mL/kg (max 3 mg dose)
By IV/UVC:
Epinephrine 1:10,000 0.1 mL/kg
