Neuro Ax Flashcards

1
Q

What are the stages of motor recovery?

A
  1. Flaccid paralysis
  2. Involuntary movement or flickers with external stim (tapping, stroking, associated rxn etc.)
  3. Able to move voluntarily in synergy, even components.
  4. Able to move in synergy and reverse if performed in weaker synergy first. Simple movements can be done out of synergy.
  5. Able to move in synergy and reverse regardless of which synergy in performed first. Relative independence from basic synergy.
  6. Near normal
  7. Normal
