Peripheral neuropathy - sensory - causes
Metabolic - DM, uraemia, hypothyroid, B12
Toxic - ETOH, chemo, medications

Hereditary - charcot marie tooth - pes cavus
Sensory peripheral neuropathy work up
BM, fundoscopy
FBC (anaemia), U+E, LFT, CRP
B12, TFTs, ESR
Immunoglobulins + serum electrophoresis
HbA1c
Nerve conduction studies and EMG
- axonal vs demyelinating (more likely immune), and ? length dependent (less likely immune).
