-- MATH TERMS, like fractions of 2/100 (Bǎi fēn zhī èr) or decimals of 1.2 (Yī diǎn èr)
-- SMALLER NUMBERS like 2, 22, or 200
Liǎng is used ....
-- IN FRONT OF MEASUREMENT WORDS like 2 hours (Liǎng xiǎo shí) or 2 dollars (Liǎng yuán)

USA 10,000 vs Chinese 1,0000
How do you say 2,000,000 in Chinese?
aka Chinese 200,0000
Chinese use four zeros (1,0000) whereas USA uses three (1,000).
Chinese does have a word for thousand (called qiān), which would be USA's three zero unit.
However, Chinese measures in the four zero unit (aka 1,0000 called Wàn) whereas USA would call that ten thousand (10,000).
2 million in USA would then be called as 200 10,000 in Chinese, aka Liǎng bǎi wàn
