Nutrients are elements and compounds that organisms need for living, growing and reproducing.

The two types of nutrients are;
-Macronutrients (large amounts which are proteins and carbohydrates).
Micronutrients (small amounts which are vitamins and minerals).

Biodegradable waste is waste that breaks down back into the environment.

What are the two types of biodegradation?
A
The two types of biodegradation are;
- Aerobic Biodegradation (organisms that need oxygen to grow and reproduce).
- Anaerobic Biodegradation ( don’t need oxygen to grow and reproduce).
