What are the compenonts of a Mediterranean-style diet?

What does MIND stand for?

What are the components of the MIND diet?
vegetables (especially green leafy ones), nuts, berries, beans, whole grains, fish, poultry, olive oil, and, for those interested, wine
What are the thumbs down in the Mind diet?
red meats, butter and stick margarine, cheese, pastries and other sweets, and fried or fast food.
Type 2 Diabetes
With type 2 diabetes, the body either doesn’t produce enough insulin, or it resists insulin.
Type 1 Diabetes
A chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin.
It typically appears in adolescence.
Type 2
If you have type 2 diabetes,cells don’t respond normally to insulin; this is called insulin resistance. Your pancreas makes more insulin to try to get cells to respond. Eventually your pancreas can’t keep up, and your blood sugar rises, setting the stage for prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.
Type 1
In type 1 diabetes,the pancreas (a small gland behind the stomach) progressively reduces the amount of insulin (the hormone that regulates blood glucose levels) it produces until it stops producing any at all. If the amount of glucose in the blood is too high, it can, over time, seriously damage
