HANDLING: “I need to think about it”
“Yeah yeah no problem. What is your timeframe to getting back to me so I know if I’m going to be available for you?”
“I’m not sure if I’ll be randomly available like that with my schedule…what I can do for you if you have your calendar handy,I can pull a specific time so you don’t have to chase me down and vice versa, would that help you?”
“Now before we go…what was that you wanted to go over on your mind…just so I know…what questions you might have…when we talk”
HANDLE: “Can you give us a better price than this?”
“You must be asking that for a very good reason,what’s behind that question so as I can understand?
“WTZ company gave us a price that is much cheaper than yours”
“What quote did they you and for what?”
“Can you go over their proposal with me in detail just so I have more of a background?”
“Well it just depends on what kind of results you want, it’s the price the most important thing for you or actually solving ______?”
“I want to compare prices with other vendors”
“What are you hoping they will tell you?”
“It’s not a problem, so let’s say all these other companies all meet the criteria as well, including the price. How would you then decide who to go with?”
HANDLING: need to talk to my spouse
-So just I understand, this is more a matter of support or you need permission for financial reasons?
-What part do you think they wouldn’t approve?
Handling: It’s a lot of money
-And this is exactly why you’ll be successful, means a lot to you.
-Would you even believe it did what I said if it was 1/10 of the price?
-What would be more expensive, keep where you are Right now for years, or getting the funds to get you successful in a much shorter time?
Handling: Not a good time, I’m too busy
When would it be better to look for help other than when you need it the most?
