ELK might be an open source but that doesn’t necessarily mean free to use. Implementing ELK yourself involves a lot of engineering expertise which translates to a lot of money.

ELK = You pay for the software and infrastructure that comes with it. Infrastructure + Customization + Operations + Support = associated costs.

Scaling…might be difficult to do with an ELK solution. Make it easier on yourself having an all encompassing tool like Coralogix.

Our workloads vary day to day so it will be difficult to predict quota. Can you provide monthly quotas instead of daily?

I have development teams across different time zones and different locations. What would an on-boarding plan look like to improve client adoption across these teams?

Each enterprise customer is assigned a TAM together will formulate a detailed onboarding plan based on customer priorities and trainings. Both will be executed during the onboarding phase and ongoing phases. We will accommodate timezones and schedules accordingly.

Our workloads are inconsistent. Some days we have more logs than we do traces, but that could vary the next day. How does your business model handle a situation like this?

Coralogix compresses data upon ingestion at an average of 10-1. Ingest is 10 cents per GB. With 100GB you would pay $10 a day to ingest data. Due to compression of your data, we help keep these costs under control.

Understand that your solution we will be sotring the data in our S3 bucket. We retain our data for more than a year, so we are concerned about long term costs. What do you recommend?

Long term storage on S3 is relatively inexpensive. We also compress your data at an average of a 10-1 ratio. We also support intelligent tiering within your S3 bucket which drastically reduces your costs right off the bat.

I am running on GCP/Azure and do not want to open another account on AWS. If the solution is Cloud hosted, which providers are used to provide the platform and how is it deployed to achieve maximum availability and optimize service response?

All that is needed is an S3 bucket. Data is compressed average of 10-1 ratio so your ingress costs will be minimal. Coralogix is hosted on AWS infrastructure across 6 highly available regions. AWS provides the ability to store services in several availability zones. Each availability zone is a datacenter in itself. Coralogix services are deployed across 2 availability zones so that each component has 2 nodes and the downtime of one node will not affect the service.

What reporting capabilities are included in the product to track consumption, capacity and identify performance bottelneck?
