Is a work of drama in which a character who’s usually good and noble is brought to a disastrous end his or her Confrontation with a superior force (Fordshire, the guides, human nature, universal values) But also comes to understand the meaning of his or her deeds and to accept the punishment as appropriate. Often the Protagonist downfall is a Direct result of a flat flaw in the character. In Oedipus is situation, his fatal flaw or Hammerich is to learn the truth
