12 Common OHS (Occupational Health and Safety Standard)

A
  1. Do not work alone.
  2. Always power off the computer after using and unplug it afterwards.
  3. Do not put any liquid near your computer area.
  4. Clean your computer area before ad after working with it.
  5. Do not use excessive force when things don’t fit into place.
  6. Be careful and make sure that the pins are properly aligned with the cable connector.
  7. Always wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  8. Only hold the edge of the computer component, do not touch the IC.
  9. Always have contingency measures or plan B.
  10. Only use a brush, blower, or compressed air when cleaning your computer components.
  11. Be careful with tools that might short-circuit.
  12. Always ground or discharge yourself before touching the computer.
