What is the ontological argument
an ontological argument is a deductive philosophical argument, made from an ontological basis, that is advanced in support of the existence of God. Such arguments tend to refer to the state of being or existing.
What is a deductive argument
The conclusion has to be true
Critique of god is the greatest good so therefore has to exist
Goodness is subjective and something doesn’t have to exist to be good(eg the perfect island GAUNILO)
If you can define god into existence can you do the same for Santa
What did gaunilo say(critique of st anselm)
How can you bring god the greatest good into existence what about the perfect island
