Occipital to anterior temporal pole

Runs deep to fusiform gyrus on inferior surface of temporal lobe.

Disruption causes loss of facial recognition

Uncinate fasciculus

A

Orbitofrontal lobe to anterior temporal

Disruption can delay speech generation, but usually this recovers if other tracts are intact

Inferior frontal lobe to inferior parietal lobule and superior temporal region.

Runs superior to the superior sulcus of insula, and adjacent to SLF

Linear incision
Craniotomy above and below transverse sinus - allows grip dura and retract sinus away
