  • Onset: 30 seconds
  • Peak: 5-15 minutes
  • Duration: 30-60 minutes

  • Respiratory depression
  • Cardiac stability
  • Double peak effect (recirculation) can occur –> durther respiratory depression
  • Chest wall rigidity if given too fast
  • Bradycardia
  • Hypotension
