List two causes of atypical optic neuritis

A

Infection: TB/Syphillis
Inflammation
Vasculitis/Uveitis/Neuroretinitis/Scleritis
Neuromyelitis optica (Devic’s disease)
Anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (tends to be painless in nature)
Neoplastic: Compresive or Infiltrative
Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy
