  • Arian was accept back into fellowship and Athanatius was exiled for not accepting him. And the son of Constantine exiled those who upheld Nicea, including Athansius–thought the Father was greater than the son (not homo or homoi)
  • Reinforced Nicea Council and added section to the Nicean Creed (Esp Holy Spirit)
  • Against Sabellianism - modalism–F, S, HS as modes of one God
  • Against Apollinarianism - type of monophysite, Jesus had no human mind Holy Spirit as God
  • Resulted in Nicene-Constantinople Creed

  • Miaphysites-two natures that are untied in one nature
