steps involved in lateral canthotomy

A

1-explain the procedure and consent
2-Inject lignocaine +adrenaline to lateral canthus
3-use artery forceps , crush lateral canthus into the lateral orbital bone
4-use scissors , cut the skin and lateral canthal ligament
5-re check IOP
6-If still high ,then cut the superior canthal ligament
