Risk factors for Childhood SNHL

A
  1. Prematurity
  2. Birth weight less than 1500g or 1.5kg
  3. Congenital craniofacial anomalies
  4. In Utero Infections
  5. Hyperbilirubinemia requiring Exchange Transfusion
  6. Apgar scores less than 5 at 1min and at 7 at 5minutes
  7. Requirement for Mechanical Ventilation for 5days or more
    8.Head trauma
    9.Exposure to ototoxic agents
  8. Family hx of hereditary childhood snhl
  9. Otitis media
