What is momentum?
A
Momentum describes how much motion an object has. It is measured in kg m/s.

What is the Conservation of Momentum?
A
That momentum is conserved during any collision or explosion, PROVIDED NO EXTERNAL FORCES ACT.

How do you calculate momentum?
A
1) find starting momentum of objects and add them together
2) start momentum = end momentum
3) if they stick together then add the masses. if they separate don’t add the masses.
4) use the end momentum to find velocity.
