  1. Too much buying
  2. Too much being produced when people stopped buying
  3. Lots being bought on credit
  4. Farm overproduction, and Europe was no longer buying
  5. 1/20 bought into the stock market, and the market continued rising upwards.

A

Summer, 1929, record highs. Two hints: a) too many people’s wealth was in stocks and b) slowdown in buying. Slowed in fall, crashed on October 29.
