Q
How is tissue fluid formed
A
- from the arteriole end of the capillary, the high blood pressures increases hydrostatic pressures
- this increases outward pressure of capillary, pushing out small molecules
- like water, but proteins and blood cells stay inside as too large
- push out contents form tissue fluid
- because large proteins and blood cells remain, and low water pot
- this encourages osmosis from tissue fluid water to return to circulatory system
- excess water drained into lymph system
- returned to veins later in circulatory system
