Q

How is tissue fluid formed

A
  • from the arteriole end of the capillary, the high blood pressures increases hydrostatic pressures
  • this increases outward pressure of capillary, pushing out small molecules
  • like water, but proteins and blood cells stay inside as too large
  • push out contents form tissue fluid
  • because large proteins and blood cells remain, and low water pot
  • this encourages osmosis from tissue fluid water to return to circulatory system
  • excess water drained into lymph system
  • returned to veins later in circulatory system
