Physical activity benefits you as you can meet new people by starting a new sport. This means that you are less likely to feel lonely and feel part of something (team)
It allows you to take part in competition which makes you feel good if winning or meeting a challenge. This reduces the chance of depression
Explain how physical acivity benefits you emotionally.
Physical activity benefits you as it relieves stress by releasing a hormone called serotonin which has a feel good factor. This reduces the chance of developing depression
Explain how physical activity benefits you physically.
Physical activity benefits you as it reduces the chance of obesity as you burn excess calories while exercising. This means that you won’t be carrying excess weight and won’t be slowed down from additional fat so can perform for longer.
It strengthens your bones to reduce the chance of osteoporosis. This is done by taking part in weight bearing activities such as running. From this you are less likely to recieve an injury.

Improves body composition , lowers phychological illness (depression)

Competition pressure leads to mental health problems , sport related injuries
What is the definiton of a sedentary lifestyle?
A lifestyle where there is little or no physical activity
What are the health risks of leading a sedentary lifestyle?
Conary heart disease , depression , obesity
What is the definition of being overweight?
Weighing more than your expected weight for your height and sex
What is the definition of being overfat?
Having more body fat than you should have which can lead to health problems if excessive
What is the defintion of being obese?
People who are very overfat and have a seriously unhealthy body fat level. This can lead to mobility issues.
