IDEA: Racism is used by the bourgeoise as a divide and rule tactic to maintain false class consciousness.

Racism wouldn’t exist if capitalism hadn’t developed. They saw racism as ‘manmade’ and an excuse to justify racism and sustain the exploitation of the bourgeoisie.

Racism is a distraction for working class workers to have an issue about the division of races instead of teaming up and overthrowing the boss. Black people are a reseved sarmy of labour to prevent white workers demanding higbher wages. They argue it prevents the proletariat uniting to fight for better wages and conditions. Ethnic groups are forced to work for lower wages than their white co-workers and will be the easiest to sack in times of economic recession.
