evaluation

A

it portrayed women as being not emotionally stable enough to handle the responsibilities of voting, for example emily davidson ran onto kings horse during a racing event killing her on impact

this Reinforced the stereotype into many members of the public’s heads that the suffragettes were insane and not fit to gain the responsibility of the vote. whilst the peaceful campaign of the suffragists demonstrated that peaceful methods can gain more support and likability from the general public, this shows that the suffragists are a more imporant factor.
