IM: 25-100mcg, every 10 minutes, max dose 200mcg
IV: 25-50mcg, every 5 minutes, dilute with 8mL saline, max dose 200mcg
NAS: 50-100mcg, every 10 minutes, max dose 200mcg
morphine is preferred except…
morphine allergy/ADR, haemodynamic instability, suspected kidney disease, nasal administration is preferred, suspected ACS

ibuprofen indications
moderate pain, acute inflammation, tissue injury
ibuprofen contraindications
NSAID allergy/ADR, concurrent NSAID therapy, GI bleeding, peptic ulcers, hypovolaemia, renal impairment, NSAID induced asthma, heart failure, pregnancy, ACE inhibitors or ARBs, under 13 or over 65, anticoagulant medications, diuretic treatment
ibuprofen dosage
200-400mg, after every 6 hours
methoxyflurane presentation

allergy/ADR, under 1 year, liver or renal disease, malignant hyperthermia

3mL inhaled repeated after 20 minutes, max dose 6mL in 24 hours

IM: 2.5-10mg, every 10 minutes, max dose 10mg
IV: 2.5-5mg, every 5 minutes, dilute with 9mL saline, max dose 20mg
ondansetron presentation
4mg/2mL ampoule, 4mg tablet
ondansetron indications
significant nausea/vomiting
ondansetron contraindications
allergy/ADR, congenital long QT syndrome, apomorphine therapy, under 2 years, (first trimester pregnancy)
ondansetron dosage
4-8mg pushed over 2-3 minutes, every eight hours, max dose 8mg
paracetamol presentation
500mg tablet
paracetamol indications
mild to moderate pain, fever
paracetamol contraindications
